The Secretreminds us we must refuse to be sidetracked by detours, illusions and and negativity, including sparks of self-doubt. Its not that hard to reaffirm your plans, hopes and dreams. What holds you back? How often do you speak them aloud? Where do you write your intentions? To whom do you confide your heart-felt visions?
Its never too late to recognize problems or obstacles are already solved. How would you know? As you decide to separate yourself from self-deception, you begin to realize that you create your own distractions and you can change your focus as well. Tell yourself the grass is green where you are. Tell yourself cheques are coming to you in the mail. Tell yourself the relationship you’ve always wanted is evolving in positive directions.
Repeat optimistic thoughts with conviction. Learn to believe in and expect favorable outcomes in every area of your life, without exception. Sense whatever you’re already experiencing is part of the process toward a desirable result. Imagine and have faith that all your choices and experiences are valuable and also in your best interest.
Rather than deceive yourself and focus on discomfort or displeasure, learn instead to convince yourself problems disappear when you focus purely on what matters. Be honest with yourself. Pin down underlying fear in order to nip perceived problems in the bud. Forget they exist. Watch them vanish. Fulfillment takes the form of abundance and joy.

Tell me, how would you know what you really desire out of life if you’ve never learned to really listen? Consider how the sensitivity of your perception could be stifled for years due to choices you’ve made, work you do, relationships you’ve developed and habits you’ve formed. You have conditioned yourself and created patterns from experience.
What matters is learning to reconnect with your inner self. Its time to get back in touch with the truth of who you are. This means you can rediscover what you really desire to do, beneath all those habits and patterns on the surface. You may ask yourself which steps are necessary to get-to-know yourself differently.
No matter what your age of life situation, trauma or hardship offers the opportunity for self-reflection. This can also lead to increased recognition and sensitivity to ‘likes and dislikes’ and other feelings about your life. Challenges can also seem like a shock which jolt you to get back in touch with what makes you feel good about yourself.
When was the last time you took steps to focus more on how you really feel? Listen to yourself. It really matters. To attract the life you want, you need to learn how to feel and imagine it to life. As you heighten your sensitivity, you’ll develop the vision and sense an experience before having it. Choose not to suppress your sensitivity.

The things that will make you truly successful are not outside yourself. Many people will focus on diplomas they’ve earned, people they meet, places they plan to go, and other conditions outside themselves to help them get somewhere. Then, they wonder why it feels as though they’re beating their head against the wall? It is only your awareness and perception that require expansion. Separate yourself from what you think you know. The Secret encourages you to retrain your mind and align your energy.
Do you ever ask yourself, “what could I be doing wrong?” The Universe simply hears “I be doing wrong.” It doesn’t hear negatives. You may hear yourself saying you don’t want to encounter red lights on your way to the doctor’s office. Then, you’re astonished when you keep encountering red light after red light. Its like you invited them all.
Having rests on giving, not on getting. You learn what you teach. You internalize the reverberration of your behavior. Its unrealistic to receive without effort. The Universe works on balance. It functions partly based on altruism and charity. You send out wishes and expect opportunities, or better health or improved circumstances as you see them. Yet, are you thinking consistent thoughts? Are you assisting others?

Do yourself a favor: Ask, believe and receive. These are the simple steps encouraged by The Secret. You’re supposed to act as if you already receive what you’ve asked for, as if you already live the reality you desire for yourself. Emit signals of abundance. Imagine what it feels like to experience it. Find ways to feel good to bring more your way.
Desire connects you with your priorities and anticipation invites what you want into your life. How are you already manifesting what you hope to experience? It’s time to start focusing on the positive and assuming its realistic. All that you require is flowing around you. Tap into it. Embrace the inevitable. Focus on and attract what you want.
Do you visualize the parking space waiting outside your destination?
Do you align yourself with the frequency that that will bring you money?
Do you expect to lose weight or develop your ideal body?
Do you recognize and seize the opportunitites that are provided?
Do you radiate thoughts and feelings of happiness?
Do you focus on prosperity?

Review Your Choices by Liara Covert

Wherever you are right now is the result of all the choices you have made up to this point. Your view of reality need not be as it is. Your attitudes, feelings and behavior are in your control. Although the Universe responds to each of your actions, there exists a time lag. What you wish for will not happen right away. That means you have time to review and change some of your choices that no longer seem appropriate.
Recognize that where you are and how you think is temporary. It doesn’t necessarily reflect what you want. You fight to continue on the same course, to repeat history, to follow the same patterns and be as you perceive yourself. You may think you don’t have enough petrol to make a trip, or you don’t have enough money to pay your bills. Why not transform your thinking to focus on abundance? Change your mindset accordingly.
As a new way of thinking, expect to receive cheques in the mail. Expect that everything you need will be plentiful. Watch your mind for the temptations of the ego. Do not permit yoruself to be deceived by projected guilt or fear of lack. You have choices.
Another wise move is to disengage from visions of problems. Become solutions-oriented instead. Catch yourself whenever you’re tempted to use negation such as “don’t, can’t shouldn’t haven’t won’t” or others. Express positive ideas of anticipation, such as “I will, I foresee, I predict, I expect, I plan, I have faith.” It all begins with you.

How easy it is to assume that you get upset at a person for something they did to you. How easy it is to blame people for things that aren’t apparently going in your favor. Yet, wait a minute! Are your feelings not perhaps misdirected? What if reasons you think justify your outbursts and other impulsive gestures aren’t what you assume?
Any negative feelings you send out into the world are going to reverberrate back at you. That’s a given. The Secret tells us that sources of upset within our soul are seldom aligned with the focus of our external energies. Consider the relative importance you assign to positive and negative thought. You may do unconscious things to change the orientation of the messages you send out into the Universe. Remind yourself that like attracts like.
In essence, people rarely have accurate insight into themselves and their feelings. This fact helps to explain why you postpone getting the results you most desire. The focus of your energies is most often the result of misperception. How would you fix that?
Well, think psychology. Examine your mind to identify what is really distressing you. Look beyond your assumptions. Realize that you aren’t bothered by not getting your desired results so much as experiencing guilt and other disturbing feelings that hold you back. This is your ego. All you have to do is to train your mind to relinquish different forms of upset. Whether or not you realize, you may channel energy into and thus expand the problem.

Does how you think really create the life you lead? The law of attraction asserts that it does. Perhaps the key to living a positive and desireable life is to have the right loyalties and hold them in line with parallel values. To apply The Secret your way would mean personalizing the advice you’re offered. How would you put appealing ideas into a more meaningful context in your own life?
Consider Australian David Shirmer. He transformed his life by internalizing and applying The Secret. He wrote How To Apply The Secret Step by Step and developed seminars to empower participants. They teach that to exert small amounts of effort has the potential to enable people to completely alter their focus, priorities and thought patterns.
My own advice is based largely on my own experience. We benefit from learning lessons from the experience of others as well as our own. On this note, I encourage you to step back and take out a sheet of paper. Divide it into thirds vertically (form three columns). Label them past, present and future. Reflect on milestones in your life. Write them down. If you choose, connect them with lines. Use colored pens. Seek to recognize how key decisions or choices have influenced other events in the course of your life.
As you learn to understand how you came to be where you are, you can apply The Secret your way to get to where you wish to go. As you connect significant events to your thoughts and feelings of a given time period, what do you notice? How many connections or synchronicities can you identify? As you move toward the future, what personal behavior do you desire to change? Why?

Some people talk about being on their way to achieving success, yet deep down, they don’t sincerely believe they will ever get there. Your own success may be drastically limited by self-doubt. Does this seem like a life-changing revelation? Maybe, maybe not. What about those people you observe? Do they inspire you?
When on the topic of success, its not uncommon to hear people say, “not far now.” How do you understand this response? Do you see it as a smokescreen for someone’s sense of failure? Have you known people who utter these words when they don’t have an idea of an end destination, let-alone a strategy to get there? Still other people express these words as a form of self-assurance. They may lay out goals and devise a concise plan to reach them, yet, not sense any real progress. Thus, “not far now” can be like a pep talk.
As for you, what do you believe? As you read The Secret, learning to apply its principles will draw your attention to how you perceive your own needs and desires. Discern how your mind works. This and your attitude explain how you get the results you have. Your past led to your present and your present will also determine your future.
No matter what your present circumstances, you can achieve everything you desire in your life. As of this moment, it all begins with you! Why postpone the sense of success that is within your reach? Open your eyes to the power of gratitude and expectation.

Today could feel like just another day. You may envision being somewhere other than where you are, yet realize you haven’t been doing anything other thing sporadic thinking. Its time to grasp thinking is the first step to realizing more desirable change.
How much time do you spend on working toward to the true focus of your dreams? Does your effort reflect an acceptable level of progress? If not, then its time to re-evaluate. You may be channeling your energy in directions that aren’t as helpful as they could be. Ask yourself why that is. After all, you know more about where you’re going than anyone.
Consider the energy alignment that is required goes further than simply thinking about a result and acting to make it happen. Other variables come into play. Not having a sense of moving forward doesn’t have to seem like an insurmountable obstacle. What if you learned to perceive your conditions differently? As you begin to understand how to focus your energy, then you can also learn to grasp traditional thoughts and action do not create outcomes on their own.

Whether you sense it or not, every instant, you attract people, events, health, wealth and relationships into your life. Its possible that not all of the people who appear or events that unfold are the best choices for your soul.
You get what you think about, consciously and unconsciously. If these thoughts aren’t aligned, then it may seem you don’t attract exactly what you want, but you do. As you come to discern what is desirable or undesireable at a given time, you can learn to intuit what works or doesn’t work for you.
Its like you are a living and breathing magnet. This means the ideas you focus on, you will bring to yourself. Consider how you can imagine what you desire, and then act to facilitate the outcome. This is a strategy to attract what you want. How much time do you commit to thinking about what you desire? The more time and energy you devote, the more intense your desire, the more you concentrate on making it happen.
In the same way, when you focus on what you don’t want, you attract precisely what you don’t want. When your mind lingers on a situation that bothers you, you could subconsciously perpetuate the very thing you would consciously like to disappear. Since you get what you wish for, then the result is a clue to how well you really know yourself.
Humans are enormously powerful energy forces. You can use this intense power to attract more of what you want in life. Simply pay attention to how you think and feel. You are or will become what you think about. Its only your own doubt and negative thinking that could potentially prevent you from getting what you desire. What will it require for you to believe unconditionally in your potential?
