Just when you thought the on-line auction scenario described in two previous posts was over, a new chapter unfolded. The conscience of the prospective jewlery buyer kicked in when he thought what he’d bought was “too good to be true.” He decided to do some in-depth research into high-grade jewlery. Luckily, had had five days to pay for his auction item, and he could still opt not to purchase period.

The nature of the item described on the website where he had apparently won the bidding didn’t make sense when compared with jewlery of similar grades on other sites. At this point, the man has decided not to buy that engagement ring. The valuation wasn’t forthcoming until after the supposed purchase. What if it tuned out to be plastic or a zirconia? What he thought he had as a dream ring doesn’t seem to be the right one after all. Another, more appropriate ring must be “out there.”

The Secret reminds us to follow our instincts and develop confidence in how we feel. Gaining self assurance in one setting goes a long way. This ring scenerio isn’t over. Who knows what might happen next?
