The Secret prompts reflection about the creative processes all around us. How you think is part of this process. Humans can observe how exerting a physical force leads to an outcome. Similarly, thoughts, words and other energy that comes from inside you all influence other outcomes. Did you imagine you were the captain of your ship of life?
Begin by zeroing in on what you consistently think about at different phases of your life. When you have felt sick, did you imagine getting well? When you have experienced crises, did you visualize a positive resolution? If you are poor in money, are you realizing that belief in a spiritual side as well as a belief in acquiring visible things can lead to harmony in what you ask for? You may already sense that a simple desire for money doesn’t necessarily mean it will fall into your lap. What do you usually attract?
You are equipped with abilities to choose, to think, perceive and sense the elements of your ideal existence. How easy it may seem to fall into a state of doubt, want, or dissatisfaction. Whenever you allow yourself to think about potential problems such as failure or misfortune, you may be unconsciously resonating a vibration that attracts the very things you fear or don’t want. Since each thing you don’t desire has a polar opposite you do, its key to attune yourself with your imagination and awareness.
The Secret can be tapped into to empower you to realize you can change those things you don’t want into more worthy things you do. If you feel ill and dwell on this, then better health would ironically be repelled and harder to realize. If you dwell on what you don’t have, then abundance may also be pushed away. If you become morose about perceived failure, then success becomes more foreign and even alienated. If you spout criticism and hate, then you almost inevitably push away love.
Curiously, each time you criticize yourself, you also send out negative vibrations into the universe that repel positive thinkers and other potential positive influences on your life. Each time you judge youself, you also judge others. They feel this turn-off even if you don’t sense it. Negative thinking of any kind is counter-productive. You believe what you think and say because you’re reinforcong thoughts. Put positive ideas into practice. Formulate affirmations to move forward. Write and verbalize them often.
