Every Effect has its Cause by Liara Covert

The Secret prompts reflection about the creative processes all around us. How you think is part of this process. Humans can observe how exerting a physical force leads to an outcome. Similarly, thoughts, words and other energy that comes from inside you all influence other outcomes. Did you imagine you were the captain of your ship of life?
Begin by zeroing in on what you consistently think about at different phases of your life. When you have felt sick, did you imagine getting well? When you have experienced crises, did you visualize a positive resolution? If you are poor in money, are you realizing that belief in a spiritual side as well as a belief in acquiring visible things can lead to harmony in what you ask for? You may already sense that a simple desire for money doesn’t necessarily mean it will fall into your lap. What do you usually attract?
You are equipped with abilities to choose, to think, perceive and sense the elements of your ideal existence. How easy it may seem to fall into a state of doubt, want, or dissatisfaction. Whenever you allow yourself to think about potential problems such as failure or misfortune, you may be unconsciously resonating a vibration that attracts the very things you fear or don’t want. Since each thing you don’t desire has a polar opposite you do, its key to attune yourself with your imagination and awareness.
The Secret can be tapped into to empower you to realize you can change those things you don’t want into more worthy things you do. If you feel ill and dwell on this, then better health would ironically be repelled and harder to realize. If you dwell on what you don’t have, then abundance may also be pushed away. If you become morose about perceived failure, then success becomes more foreign and even alienated. If you spout criticism and hate, then you almost inevitably push away love.
Curiously, each time you criticize yourself, you also send out negative vibrations into the universe that repel positive thinkers and other potential positive influences on your life. Each time you judge youself, you also judge others. They feel this turn-off even if you don’t sense it. Negative thinking of any kind is counter-productive. You believe what you think and say because you’re reinforcong thoughts. Put positive ideas into practice. Formulate affirmations to move forward. Write and verbalize them often.

Move Toward What You Think About by Liara Covert

There is an idea that reveals you move toward and become that which you think about. If each of us thinks about everything as interconnected, we will begin to better accept the greater whole and that we are each empowered to change in our own way. Every stage of transition may not turn out the way you expect, but that doesn’t negate its usefulness. Your level of awareness evolves as you become more attuned to your own values and perception of meaning in your life. How do your views really help you?
As you sense a need to slow down and review where you are and what you’re doing, this is a sign growth spurts are underway. To take time to reassess how you feel is often necessary to prevent you from moving toward undesirable results or conditions. Unconsciously, you decide to take time to consider and move toward alternatives to what you’re doing now. Some of your reflection will be conscious and self-directed, other phases of life-reviews will be unconscious. If you’re inattentive to what would be good for you, you’re choices won’t be ideal. What kinds of pursuits are you overlooking?
To liberate the truth of your most fulfilling pursuit is one of the most worthwhile things you can do. To figure out your calling may be one of the most life-changing accomplishments you ever experience. As you commit to uncover your next life focus, you’re adding a rewarding new dimension to your life. You might ask why fulfilling pursuits are illusive. What is your motivation to sacrifice part of what you know and do in favor of new things? What causes your choices to feel right or wrong? Someday, someone will draw your attention to what makes perfect sense. Lead yourself to where you recognize the value in your gifts.
When do you plan to wake up and pay attention to what your soul is telling you? How do you remember yourself? It all begins there. Think back to where you came from and what has driven you to get this far. Stopping to reflect will help you re-orient.

Trust in Something by Liara Covert

You may not realize it yet, but you can be your own best friend or your own worst enemy. The Secret is like a reminder that you can learn how to obtain, accomplish, or become anything you set your mind to do. Why not decide to apply this attitude in all areas of your life? You’re the only person who stands in the way of creating this life-changing mindset and taking action to make it happen. Its that simple. Why make embracing change and improving your life even more complicated than it has to be?
Modern users of this strategy share their incredible stories of how they eradicated disease, acquired massive financial wealth, overcame hoards of obstacles, and achieved what many people would assume as impossible. Through these people, you can begin to uncover the untapped power that lies within you. You may not yet imagine the joy that awaits you. It will happen in steps. From the moment you’re ready, your perception and self-understanding will evolve. You’ll see reasons to be where you are now. What will you choose to learn from that? What will you decide to apply elsewhere and share in ways that benefit you and others?
Granted, its unlikely you’ll connect the dots of your life by looking forward. Yet, you can learn to connect them by looking back, by reviewing your life experiences and beginning to truly understand the basis for your emotions. We all have opportunities to trust that the dots will somehow connect in our future. You can actively decide you will make your life more fulfilling and how. You have to trust in something, from your instincts, destiny, coincidence, karma, Higher Forces, a flipped coin, whatever. Once you place your trust in a path, devote your heart and soul to making it happen, you will invite exactly what you seek into your life. Prepare yourself. The best is yet to come!

Elevate Your Experience by Liara Covert

What would it mean to elevate your experience? How might you feel more satisfied or fulfilled in your life? As you learn to raise yourself somewhere beyond the life view you have now, then you’ll be in a position to see a completely different picture.
The Secret offers a friendly reminder to expand your self-view. Your primary motivation is to explore meaning in why you exist right now. Your role is to create the environment which enables you to learn about yourself, to feel more motivated, and far more complete. Absorb your experiences. Why do you make choices at particular times? What are you ready for?
In order to feel more focused, you may wish to break down areas of your life worthy of attention. These are the building blocks of your sense of success. If parts of your life are working and enriching you in ways you find agreeable, then you may feel no need to expand on them. Yet, other areas of your life may cause you to feel stifled, confused or somehow suspended in time without a powerful grounding.
Remind yourself that you always have options. if it seems you can’t move in one direction, then other options are available to you. Which ways would you imagine moving? Where would you like to go? Things are seldom what they seem. Your mind creates a vision and you have power to change it.
Speculate how you would like to expand on what you know or enrich your life. You may prefer to create a sense or progress rather than to regress (move backwards). If you had a compass, you may think you were limited to any combination of the four directions (N,S,E,W). Yet, why not move up and down? Move side-to-side? Move circumferentially? Move parts of yourself at different rhythms, paces or frequencies.
Recognize that elevating your experience is another way of developing the courage and enthusiasm to build on what you think you already know. You journey to experience the most meaningful parts of yourself. How might other people facilitate your self-discovery?

Be Honest about Your Life by Liara Covert

The Secret to living a more fulfilling life first requires figuring out what this means to you. How well do you know your mind and how it works? Can you trace a thread back to understand why you think as you do today? Honesty is key. It’s what will enable you to build strength by facing who you really are, including fears and illusions that stand in the way of experiencing much deeper meaning in your life.
Did you know that feeling too comfortable where you are leads you to fall into a state of complacency? Perhaps you know people who choose to live as they always have without questioning themselves or anything. Is it possible such a mindset is catching? You may be all-too-familiar with the tempting nature of this dangerous trap. Being honest means you realize learning is perpetual. You’ll benefit exponentially as you take steps to seek it.
Your greatest power is your attitude. You decide what you can and will do with your life. You have freedom to make decisions. How you feel about yourself inside and out influences whether you’ll forge a successful path. How will you optimize your thinking? Your thoughts influence action. Realize that your senses are interconnected with the world around you. Sense potential for new kinds of harmony? Its never to late to recreate your vision.
As you evolve to identify your hopes and dreams in relation to the reality you live, you’ll come to better understand why what you expect is so important in the big picture. Have you ever hear that you get exactly what you expect? When you learn to tap into your unconscious, you can learn where your inner thoughts may differ from from your conscious ones. The reality you live is often most closely-connected to your unconscious intentions. After all, what you intend happens, whether or not you realize it.
If you desire to attract more meaningful or uplifting circumstances, then you have do do more than think and talk about them. You also need to accept this idea as reality. Something will have to change in terms of your reality and the way you do things.
You function and adapt in order to survive, but how might you invoke opportunities for new kinds of prosperity?
Nobody is holding you where you are and focing you to continue living as you are. Perhaps its time to rethink your needs and shape a new existence? Remind yourself that you become the thoughts that emanate from inside you. Get to know what they are and change them if they don’t reflect the real you. Otherwise, the life you paint on the canvas isn’t going to be your true masterpiece.

If you feel stuck in a bind or feel a sense of helplessness in your life, examine what you can do to get yourself out of those circumstances. The first thing you can do is change your mindset. Teach yourself that the Secret invites you to realize that what is possible begins within yourself. Recognize you have inner power just waiting to be oriented to guide you.
To begin asking yourself whether you could’ve avoided what has already happened will not change the past. A quick review may help you to join threads, but it won’t change where your focus is now. Take steps to learn how you could benefit from focusing on new initiatives. Reacting strongly to emotional situations is energy that can be harnessed.
Reserve time alone with yourself to figure things out. You may not grasp the power you have to influence the direction of your life. As you harness energy, you can begin to feel the intensity and gain better insight into yourself. Learn where your bonds, inclinations and allegiances lie. All of your feelings offer clues about yoru life, where you’ve been, what you’ve chosen to learn or not, and where you’re headed.

Open Up to the Process by Liara Covert
|
| May 8th, 2007 under Articles.

Who’s to say we haven’t emerged in our lives to become accepting of what we are? The Secret assumes that something must be missing and its up to us to figure out what. Some readers of this book find that opinion rather presumptuous. Hence, an apparent controversy emerges. What are you willing to do about that?
Maybe you think there’s something wrong with you. Why not just focus on doing the things you love? If you did what you liked, you wouldn’t likely be focused on negativity. You wouldn’t make time to focus on things that cause you to feel bad.
One crucial realization you can make in a quest for personal growth is that no recipe you outline in advance will lead you to a path to personal success. Life experience is a teacher. Do we learn? Goals and priorities shape us or, rather, is it really the other way around? Consider the slant of your perception and what conditioned that.
Attitudes enable us to choose to feel good about ourselves. We have different natural strengths and weaknesses that are a part of our intrinsic personality. How then, as individuals, can we feel successful if we’re always being compared or comparing ourselves to other people? Whose attitude is making our decisions?
The key is to step back and see yourself as separate from other people. You need to determine what you really need and don’t need and develop abilities to attract it. This will come to you as you become more aware that the right ideas come at the right time. It doesn’t matter how. The Universe has a way of presenting situations to you that can trigger your awakening. You simply need to open up to the process.

The Secret Can Reframe Your Battles by Liara Covert
|
| May 7th, 2007 under Articles.

What can you learn from your latest experiences? Each event that unfolds is part of a message you are being offered by the Universe about yourself and your future. How will you learn to decipher it? In which ways can your process be useful to others? Your evolving recipe for success grows from each choice you make to link opportunity to things that enable you to feel good about yourself. Everything you do and choose not to do affects your overall plan.
If you injure yourself or someone enters your life and exerts effort to harm you, you can learn for yourself and you can find ways to share your lessons learned on a broader scale. You can decide to become more attentive, diligent and responsible for your behavior, and avoid physical and emotional harm experienced in the past. You also could write a book and become a public speaker to draw on your own life experience to show how being harmed was a challenge that enabled you to grow stronger.
No matter what has happened to you, its how you react to your circumstances and what you do with the lessons learned that matter. This is how you can reframe battles and turn the whole initially negative situation around. You can also choose not to be affected by what happens around you. Do you recognize the possible outcomes of your choices?
The Secret advises you to listen attentively enough to yourself to learn to make thes best choices for you at a given time. Increase your awareness that your mind can be your best friend or your most troublesome adversary. You choose your way. Choose to be a victim or a victor. You invite the environment you intend. How will you reframe your life?

Consciousness in Motion by Liara Covert
|
| May 6th, 2007 under Articles.

The Secret aims to convince us that the key to our personal fulfillment lies in grasping how we can connect with nature and intend for things to happen. A sacred balance exists. As we begin to understand our potential in relation to balance, those things we dream about will begin to manifest. Little did you know that your power to create has already gotten you this far. How much further will you evolve to discover sensations of your boundless joy?
Knowing the core of yourself empowers you to begin to realize immeasurable potential. To admit your dreams, talk about them, research the potential, and take steps to make them happen, are all things that can positively affect your future. Yet, to experience what you project more precisely, you need to offer part of yourself freely before you can expect to realize your dream. Call it a sacrifice, call it a sharing of your inner energy in an altruistic way. The more you experience what you would consider to be an extension of yourself, the stronger the vision, the stronger the energy force that will evolve all around you.
However, if you are influenced by objects, people and situations, you may be giving purely with the anticipation of receiving. If you hope to receive based on the fear of not getting what you desire, the universal system will not be functioning in your favor. Where you desire to control people and circumstances, you’re beging controlled by your ego. This isn’t your true self. This mask lives for approval. Your inner being or soul has no ties to approval. Its content just to be and to give for the sake of giving.
Consciousness in motion suggests you exert more power over your future than you may realize. Ego-based power only stays around as long as a particular position, social status and material things you think you need to define yourself. Who you are inside is unchanging. It can attract relationships, circumstances and remind you of your underlying sense of stability. As you tap into this core of yourself, you will realize an incredibly intimate authenticity unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced. You’ll realize you’re happy as you are and connect with people and the world. The bond is grounded in loving and approving yourself.

The Key Lies Within by Liara Covert

The ideas examined in The Secret remind you that the key to your attitude, success and any fulfilling experiences, lies within you. What does this mean for you? You could start by healing any inner wounds from childhood or more recently, which may have convinced you that you didn’t deserve to be loved by yourself or others. Did you ever hear the phrase, “Ask and you shall receive?”
As you consider your life experiences, you need to grow to understand whatever you’ve done or don’t like about yourself can be forgiven. The components of your identity transcend anything you’ve done or will do. As you grow open to receiving love and learn how to give it unconditionally, you discover things you wish to pursue.
You need not necessarily read hundreds of books and listen to hundreds of hours of audio tapes like Rhonda Byrne did as part of her own journey for her book. The Secret of how to live a more meaningful life ultimately begins with you. How will you proceed? When will you embrace your past? How do you understand what you’ve learned? Where do you plan to apply and share your greatest lessons? You can trace and shape your identity though your hopes and fears of the past and present. When will you find the courage to face them and take control of your life?
