Using The Secret

The trailer very specifically shows very rare photographs of Charles Hannel, author of the Master Key System correspondence course that many elite society members took in the early 1900’s. This work was also have known to be banned by the Church in 1933, a very prominent statement made in the marketing of THE SECRET. My guess, it’s all about the Master Key System.

After seeing The Secret and reading the MSK doc I’ve decided to try it out. I don’t believe in any of these self-help book (Rich Dad etc etc) but this philosophy (can we call it that?) actually resonated with my own thoughts of the world I come up with as a child. I’ve spoken with a friend for the about it last night and discovered our ideas (and that of Haanel) are very similar, so hopefully he’ll be reading MSK very shortly to give his thoughts. Anyway, I decided to keep a blog of my experiences for my own record and in case anyone cares to comment, which i’ll use as feedback into the whole experiences.

Haanel REAVEALED the secret or lets say this knowledge , he didn’t invented it …so lincon couled know it even 100 years before haanel ok ?

If I’m right, and this is the same secret as that first referred to (as “The Secret”) by Napoleon Hill, and decades later described in terms of the “Master Key System,” then the Secret can actually be explained as a hitherto unforseen ramification of already accepted physics.

(In writing that page, I made the (possibly foolish) assumption that “The Secret” is the same as the one Napoleon Hill referred to as “The Secret.” Still, I’m pretty confident my research will hold up.)

the secret is as simple as it is complex
it is within indeed, and within means within the universal substance or the mind of ‘God’.
“we” are the little blobs or manifested ‘thoughts’ existing for a little moment from that.
Because this is dynamic matter every ‘blob’ has its own temporary world of his own looking out of the window from the 1 mind. this littererally means there are as many different worlds at this moment as there are creative blobs all connected through the 1 mind.
in the 1 mind there is only being.. not evil or good.
being a blob means you take a short brake from being inside the 1 mind.
your task as a blob is to be creative without boundaries else you have not long existance as a blob and so has not your world..
so: be creative or loose your freedom dear fellow blobs

I’m sure the secret will be a very interesting show to watch.

One thing I’m sure of though is that if you’ve read any of the great new thought literature from about the turn of the century to the present, you won’t be hearing anything new.

Whether it’s the Master Key System or any of the others that deal with this sort of information, don’t just read them and say to yourself ” Gee wiz, this is fantastic ” and continue to read one book after the other. You’ll find that they all tend to say the same things in their own way.

After you’ve read all the books, pick out your favorite, shelve the rest and practice.
This will go a long way towards ending the confusion of flitting from one book to the next.

Is there hope for the future?  The horrible events on our planet deepen our awareness of evil.  We have a wonderful planet — a nest in the Stars.  But hate, fear, greed, lust and war continue to make life on our planet a dismal night of despair for many.

However, at Christmas attention for the message of the Star of Bethlehem brings warm feelings of cheer.  On Christmas, wherever you go, you find people more friendly and cheerful.  Many radio and TV programs feature beautiful Christmas Carols.

The record of history clearly shows that the power of compassion, justice and freedom in the last 2000 years was most inspired by the amazing story of Jesus — who he was and what he said and did. While many who claimed to follow Jesus did terrible things, those who heeded his commandments and promises effectively fostered peace, justice and hope for a better future.

While other religions and beliefs have also fostered the ways of peace, I have found in Jesus my guiding star.  In my case, the words and deeds of Jesus inspired the idea of Earth Day and its Earth Trustee ideas that foster peace, justice and the care of Earth. This can provide a better future for the human family.

Differences and difficulties abound.  But the blacker the night, the brighter the star.  Its darkest before dawn and day will soon come.

Star of wonder, star of light,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.

Following is what I wrote right after the launch on October 4, 1957 of Sputnik — the first satellite in Space. This was the editorial in my weekly newspaper,  The Toe Valley View — published in Bakersville, N. C. 

Sputnik was the name of the Russian satellite that began man’s venture into Space.

My editorial was picked up by the wire services and obtained global attention:

Make Our Satellite A Symbol Of Hope!

Usually in these editorial columns we stick pretty closely to local matters. But some issues arising outside our own locality become so universal in importance that they are “local” for everyone in the world. Of course we are referring now to earth satellites and man’s venture into the conquest of Space.

What was science fiction only yesterday has become visible – audible – fact today. “After a lifetime of some 250,000 years on earth …man has conquered earth gravity and stands poised on the era of universal exploration.” writes Norman Cousins in a penetrating editorial in “The Saturday Review” for Oct. 19, called “Sense and Satellites.”

But, he points out, the event brings “no universal feeling of release or jubilation,” overcast as it is by the chill of a cold war and the threat of extinction by intercontinental missiles utilizing the same principles used in launching the satellite. The answer, Cousins says, is “not to conjure up more effective ways of destroying the world.” (How trivial is the whole argument of who or what is to blame for the Russians’ getting ahead of us in the armed missiles race – when we consider that the race itself can lead only to destruction!)

“The principal need,” insists the Saturday Review editor, “is to tap our intelligence and moral imagination to the fullest in creating a working design for a better tomorrow in which all the world’s people can share. …A great idea looking towards the development of a world community will circle the globe more rapidly than the fastest satellite. It will give us access to the majority of the world’s peoples – on whom security really depends. It will also help to make life bearable on this planet before we take off for other ones.”

Now is the moment when “Peace On Earth” might have its best opportunity for realization.  When men work together for some great goal they share, the forces that make for peace and understanding have the best chance to operate.  And a greater goal could scarcely be dreamed of than the exploration of the Universe, in man’s eternal search to find and understand his place in the Universe.

What will be the effect upon the world when our own satellite is launched?  Will it turn the world toward peace and unity, or away?  We need some symbol of peace, to give the world a promise that conquest of space will be for good and not for evil. To create such a symbol would require no new discoveries.  The means are already at hand to make the appearance of our satellite as startling an event as the appearance of Sputnik, but startling in a different way.  Could not the small satellite to be launched in December according to present plans appear as a brightly shining Star of Hope? 

The mechanics of the thing should not be too difficult. More difficult would be the task of convincing the peoples of the earth that this was not just a propaganda device. Indeed, we would need to make sure ourselves, as a nation, that it was not!

The symbol would need to be accompanied by sincere words and convincing deeds in the direction of peace and world cooperation.

It is true that certain segments of humanity do not believe in the Event symbolized by the star of Christmas.   But there is no religion or no nation on earth (considering people, not governments) that does not respond with hope and longing to the angel’s song of Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men.

The above 1957 editorial was indpired by the Star of Bethlehem.  I urge that a Star of Hope Satellite be launched on October 4, 2007.  This will be the 50th Anniversary of Sputnik.   Given suitable attention, the story would unite the peacemakers of our planet and aid their efforts.  It would get attention and wake up the mighty rulers of the United States and other countries.  It would help them see and support nonviolent solutions.

The people of the world will have global peace and prosperity when we devote our money and amazing technology to spread the proven power of faith and love demonstrated by Jesus.

Let’s pray for a mighty spiritual awakening - and then put feet to our prayers.  This will result in our wealth and actions fostering peaceful progress on our amazing planet.

I believe The Secret will be about the ability to tap into and harness what is known as the superconscious mind. The Universal Mind if you will.

I agree with a few of the people on this list. If you’ve read much of the self-help literature of the early 1900’s this won’t be anything new to you. Books like Think and Grow Rich, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, The Science of Mind and, even going back a little further… that great classic As A Man Thinketh.

My fellow peoples, the secret they are referring to has got to do with unleashing the power of your subconscious mind. Read the above books and you’ll know. Also, check out a company called Learning Strategies Corp. Amazing stuff. No I don’t work for them.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this massive, worldwide television event. I can’t get enough of this “power of our minds” stuff. I just hope I learn something new.

Art is the closest. John McConnell, you don’t need Christ as a savior. Save yourself. Most writings about Christ are filled with fairy tales. Did you ever stop and ask the question, if Christ saved us from our sins then why do we still sin? He never called himself the “son of god”. Christ is a very important figure he was a direct decendant of david, he was from the richest royal family in jewish history, he was one of the worlds first social activists, most of his miracles are constuctions of those who wish to exploit the ignorant and to control the population. His philosophy is what you must trust, not the lies constucted to rope in the ignorant. Water into wine is a truth. Healing the sick is a truth. Walking on water, resurection, this is myth. Jesus had a twin brother.

Also Christ’s real name Jeshua (modern english, Joshua), not Jesus. It was changed by the roman empire. Jesus pretty much means god is zeus. The romans really liked zeus.

The Secret has a lot to do with unwinding all of the sociological, bureaucratical, religious, and behavioural restrictions that we are unwittingly entangled in, but believe to be normal characteristics of current day reality. However, reality is a perception, and is distorted by the clutter of spoken and unspoken rules. To be able to separate your mind and spirit from these burdens will enable you to tap into an energy that the majority do not consciously see. However it is the subconscious that knows this energy is there and has a natural tendency to access it. However the subconsious mind is often overpowered by the conscious mind that inhabits the ‘unreal reality’, and triggers emotions which also restrict a clear vision. Hence the cause of much depression, anxiety and confusion in the world today. All life forms on this planet are predisposed to seeking ‘balance’. I believe the Secret will assist you to acknowledge this, for it is only after we know it to exist that we can begin to control it. Obtain control of it, and you no-longer give others the ability to control your life. The power of the Secret is also the acknowledgement that new ‘balances’ at higher realms of living can be accessed. Just as we grow, there are forces at work compelling us to find these greater heights. You just need to have your intuitive eyes open! These are but the first steps to a greater life. Either embrace it and realise your potential, or continue to live an uninspired life.

According to what I have heard from people who know him personnaly, the secret will reveal something that the ”Church” have been hiding for a long time… don’t know much more.

My understanding is that John Demartini will appear in the Secret as one who has applied the Secret. It is apparent that he uses some of the teachings used by the Master Key System in his books/seminars, but then builds on them with other theories. One ‘key’ element however that will probably feature due to its relative simplicity (the complexities and science of understanding underlying energies etc will not lend themselves to a TV show) is to visualise what you want to accomplish, adopt the mindset of someone who has accomplished it, crystallise behaviours that you believe this person would have exhibited, and go about your life with these objectives in your mind every day. Slowly but surely, this pattern of conscience with become a belief system that will impregnate itself into the mind such that each day you make advances on living more and more like the individual whose success you want to attain. You will not be able to help yourself but to alight onto a similar path that those successful persons have walked before. A simply real life example is to consider that one usually does not get a promotion until they are able to demonstrate the capabilities of fulfilling the responsibilities of a higher office. Why not go about therefore doing the tasks that are considered those of your superior. Before long, you will be the superior. This simple rule is only limited by your imagination. That is the Secret.
